Zara’s latest collection is brimming with these five trends, and I just had to share them with you all!
Zara has become the go-to choice for many Indian Gen Z and Millennials! It’s not uncommon to see women in Zara clothing in metro cities, thanks to its fast fashion and weekly drops. Infamously known for its iconic yet absurd poses, Zara definitely showcases its pieces creatively, where shoppers…just can’t resist buying them.
So, let’s dive into the next big 5 trends – editor’s choice.
1. Leopard print, everything
From heels, skirts, to tops and scarves, leopard print is the epitome of the femme fatale aesthetic. It’s everywhere—adding a touch of fierce elegance to any outfit. Whether you’re looking for a standout piece or subtle accents, leopard print is the trend that promises to elevate your wardrobe with its timeless allure.
Try pairing this skirt with a black tank top, red heels and a red bag. A bold red lip and leopard print sunglasses are your best bet!
2. Iridescent holographic trip
C’mon, who doesn’t like futuristic chic? Silver is so 50s, we’re talking iridescent holographic materials and colours in 2024! If styled well, this colour can make you a standout. Zara played well by combining satin and holographic colours, to bring out the most beautiful-looking feminine pieces.
You can either go all mermaid-y and style this shirt with a sequin skirt or keep it chic with a pair of ripped denim jeans and strappy heels. Statement jewellery and sassy glossy lips – perfect look!
3. Suede capris (like.. really?)
Let alone capris, who expected suede capris to be back in trend? But I got to say, they look chic, outdoorsy and add a touch of finesse to the outfit.
However, if you are not feeling the boss chic vibe, we suggest a model-off-duty vibe! Easy, simple and quick, a t-shirt or tank top, suede capri in black, maroon Adidas sambas and a starbs macchiato on the go!
If you’re feeling the boss bitch vibe, we found some OG work wear inspo for you!
4. Tweed in Paris!
Call it the Emily in Paris effect, but tweed tops with big embellished buttons is growing on people quicker than the show’s plot. It is a statement piece when we talk about Parisian fashion and Zara just knew what they were doing.
Find yourself a tweed textured top in black, pair it with a black semi-formal shorts, gold/ silver heels depending on the colour of the buttons and pull off a Carrie Bradshaw in NYC!
5. Japanese denim
You must have seen a million ASMR videos all over your reels, where the japanese artists are creating a denim fabric with finesse, beauty and patience. Yep, Zara caught and hopped on the trend early and introduced some of the best japanese inspired pieces.
I’d suggest a relaxed shirt on top of these beautiful jeans. Go for slippers, loafers or just kitten heels to complete the look. Add on a furry jacket for that extra mystery and oomph.
And with that, you’re all caught up with all the new trends that I spotted at Zara. At the end of the day, just mix and match fashion, make it yours and dance a little before walking out the door. That’s how you know you’re living! Zara or not, following trends should be fun.
